Great article that focuses on using business intelligence as a form of digital transformation.  Although valuable, this is not my definition of digital transformation because it focuses on the IT side of the house – that is using IT data already existing within the business.  To take advantage of digital for true transformation, OT data, or operational technology data, should also be incorporated into analytics (of which BI is a subset) and machine learning.  This data is gathered through the Internet of Things – transforming the physical into digital.  BI value < DT value.
